Did you see her ABS-CBN special last Sunday? The small screen wasn’t big enough to accommodate all that superstar quality in her. I don’t know what her plans are (if she is joining showbiz full-time), but she is definitely a movie queen in the making. If this daughter of Sharon Cuneta and Gabby Concepcion decides to embrace movies, TV and recordings as a profession, then finally there will be a mother-daughter tandem in the gallery of Philippine movie queens.

KC Concepcion faces onset of intrigues
By Gerry Plaza
KC Concepcion will soon start her show biz career with a television special on ABS-CBN. Part of her entry into show biz is, naturally, the onset of intrigues. First, the long-time rumor linking her to film-TV director Lino Cayetano. Then the controversial statement of singer Billy Crawford that she was a “good kisser.”
Amid all the intrigues, however, KC remained poised and unaffected, still beaming that affectionate smile when reporters continue to bug her about these so-called issues. About Lino, she politely gave not really a showbiz remark but a response anyone could give: it’s something personal and should remain as such, without confirming or denying the rumor.
As for Billy, she immediately said that the comments made by the international Filipino singing sensation was understandable and would not think of making them to undermine her person. With his public apology, KC did not waste any more words: “Apology accepted.”
She comes into show biz without any sign of antagonism or indifference — a fresh breeze amid a polluted set of pretentious souls. Here’s hoping she remains as wonderful as she is once the real challenges of a show biz career becomes evident to her. I’m sure she will.

KC Concepcion Sings with Sam Milby and Piolo Pascual
KC Concepcion can sing but not as good as her mother, Sharon Cuneta. However, she is more beautiful than her mom. Both have good presence on the screen and can captivate the audience with their wide smiles.

KC Concepcion and Lino Cayetano
What's the real score between these two? Are they still on the getting-to-know-stage? It looks like both are very good in letting the public know that they are just good friends. I think they are more than that. Well, this is still a good publicity for KC's show (KC, From Paris to Pinas) on Sunday, September 23 and Lino Cayetano's movie, "I've Fallen For You." Good luck to both of you! Next time, give us more juice.

KC Concepcion, From Paris To 'Pinas
KC Concepcion, the daughter of Megastar Sharon Cuneta, held her first media conference for her upcoming television special on ABS-CBN entitled : “KC: From Paris to 'Pinas.
KC was shy at first but managed to loosen up during the course of her conversation with media people.
Sandra Chavez, her manager, said KC is now open for other showbiz options, including publishing, recording and movies. These options, however, come with a condition.
“Kung socially relevant po siya, why not? As much as I would like to take on fun, mainstream entertainment, I would like for my projects to have some relevance,” KC said.
The Megastar’s daughter also named Piolo Pascual as the male actor whom she admires the most.
“Piolo Pascual po dahil magaling siyang artista. Napapanood ko po siyang umarte at magaling po talaga si Piolo Pascual,” she said.
However, KC evaded questions on the issue of remaking her mother’s movies.
“I don’t think anyone should remake any of her movies. Maybe they can borrow the concept but it shouldn’t be promoted as a remake at all. I really think there could only be one Sharon Cuneta," she said. With a report from Mario Dumaual

KC Concepcion Graduates
It's not easy being Kristina Cassandra Concepcion. A product of celebrity parents, KC was a public figure even before she was born. So when the little girl blossomed into a pretty young woman, it was expected of her to enter showbiz just like her parents. That she did when she made her theatrical debut as Princess Sapphire in The Little Mermaid.
But her priorities are still her family and her education. And it was with education in mind that KC left the Philippines last August 2003, to go to college at the American University in Paris. And recently, she graduated!
